1. Choose a bed colour that suits your fur friend’s natural fur colour.

 

If your dog sheds hair you might want to take this into account when choosing the colour of their sleep surface. Removing the dog hair from the item completely is the only way to eliminate seeing the pet hair on their dog bed. But if your fur friend sheds a lot of hair you will regularly see their hair sitting on their sleep surface. When choosing the colour of their bed take into account their beautiful natural hair colour. Have a think about what colour hair is shedding and what colour sleep surface this hair will be sitting on. If you can choose a close coordinating hair colour with the bed colour, it may help the hair not stand out on the item as much. For example, black hair sitting on a white surface will be more noticeable than the same black hair sitting on a black surface. 

 

2. Removing dog hair before washing and between cleaning.

 

Some dogs shed quite a lot of hair. This will mean some extra attention needs to be given to their sleep surface. An easy way to remove your fur friend’s hair from their sleep surface is to use a pet hair roller. Regularly using a pet hair roller keeps your bed looking its best between washes. It’s also a good idea to remove the pet hair from the bed before washing the cover.

 

3. Removable machine wash cover.

 

Do you wash your current fur friends sleep surface regularly? Or is the item too bulky and big for your washing machine?
